Didactic and Professional Activity


I initiated and I presently coordinate the Course in Fetal Medicine for the 6th year medical students, together with Prof. Kypros Nicolaides from King's Hospital, London, who is the pioneer and promoter of this discipline. Only in 2010 the Course in Fetal Medicine was attended and graduated by 357 students.

I am also in charge of the Obstetrical and Gynecology Course for the 6th year students and of the theoretical courses and workshops dedicated to the University of Midwifes and Nurses students, years II, III and IV.

Course coordinator for a series of 8 courses organized through the National Center for Medical Performance, dedicated to family doctors, as well as specialty doctors and Course coordinator for four Specialty Courses predominantly of maternal-fetal medicine and Obstetrical Ultrasound organized by Carol Davila University of Medicine.


Lector of:

     - Senology Course (3 modules/year), organized through Carol Davila Medical School, annuall, starting with 2003, course held at the Endocrinology Hospital of Parhon Institute.

   -  Course for the Complementary Studies Diploma in Therapeutical options for Couple Infertility and Human Assisted Reproduction developed through the National Center for Medical Performance in 2004.

   - Course for the Complementary Studies Diploma in “Fetal – Maternal Medicine” developed through the National Center for medical performance in 2004

   - VISUS Course - Vienna International School of 3D Ultrasonography, organized by IAMU: International Academy of Medical Ultrasonography, 2006.

Competences in the maternal-fetal medicine, 3D-4D Obstetrical and gynecological echography, family planning, assisted reproduction, laparoscopy and hysteroscopy.
